Because it is oxygenated blood

When the blood is oxygenated it means that the iron atom (hemoglobin) of erythrocytes has carried the oxygen. The hemoglobin combined with oxygen gives red color to the blood.

Some animals has another atom in blood which is able to bind to oxygen for example octopus blood contains copper which binds to oxygen and it gives the blood a blue color.
