The Tide Recedes
The tide recedes, but leaves behind
Bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down, but gentle warmth
Still lingers on the land.
The music stops, and yet it lingers
On in sweet refrain.
For every joy that passes
Something beautiful remains.
Tide pools are formed in rocky coastal areas when depressions or crevices in the rocks fill with seawater during high tide, trapping marine organisms inside when the tide recedes. Over time, wave action and erosion can also create and shape tide pools along the coast.
Some examples of islands in the Philippines that disappear during high tide are the Naked Island in Siargao and the Guyam Island in Surigao del Norte. These islands are submerged underwater due to the rising tide, but reappear as the tide recedes.
Low tide is when ocean water recedes from the beach. High tide is when the ocean water climbs
The term that means falling tide is "ebbing tide." During the ebbing tide, the water level decreases as the tide recedes from the shore. This phenomenon occurs as the gravitational pull of the moon and sun changes, leading to the cyclical rise and fall of ocean water levels. Ebbing tides are part of the tidal cycle, which includes both rising (flood) and falling (ebb) tides.
The water level along the coast is higher during high tide and lower during low tide. High tide occurs when the gravitational forces of the sun and the moon align, causing water to rise and cover more of the shore. During low tide, the water recedes as the gravitational forces change, revealing more of the beach or seabed.
An agger is either a high tide which recedes, rises, and then recedes, or a low tide which recedes, rises, and then recedes again.

"Tide out" refers to the period when the sea level is at its lowest point due to the gravitational forces of the moon and sun. During this time, more of the shore is exposed as water recedes further away from the coast.
Puddles on the beach are often referred to as tidal pools or tide pools. These shallow pools form in rocky areas along the shore, typically filled with seawater during high tide and left behind as the tide recedes. They provide a unique habitat for various marine creatures, such as crabs, starfish, and sea anemones, allowing for fascinating ecological interactions.

Blondie wrote the tide is high
Originally the song 'Tide is high' was sung by The Paragons in 1967, John Holt was the leadsinger of this perfomance. The hit was rediscovered in 1980 and then it became a hit.
As men grow older, it is not uncommon that their hairline recedes. The water resedes as low tide starts.
The moon exerts a small gravitational pull on the surface of the Earth, as it orbits our planet. This pulls the water of the oceans towards the moon as it passes overhead, creating high tide. The water on the opposite side of the planet recedes, creating low tide.
