Of the colors in the visible spectrum, red has the lowest frequency and the longest wavelength. As you move on "up" the spectrum, wavelengths get shorter.
Red has the longest spectrum of all visible light. But infrared is even longer and there are many more "colors" but you can't see them.

∙ 11y agoThe spectrum of visibly colored light is usually recalled by the name "Roy G Biv". This stands for the colors Red - Orange - Yellow - Green - Blue - Indigo - Violet. The wavelength of red light is the longest and the wavelength of violet light is the shortest. The visible light spectrum corresponds to about 700 nm (red light) to 400 nm (blue light). You didn't list any choices, so we don't know which colors you want us to consider.
As the wavelength of visible light increases, the color changes in the direction of
the red end of the rainbow. Red is the color with the longest visible wavelength.
Blue is the color with the shortest.

Red has the longest wavelength in the visible spectrum.
The longest wavelength in the visible spectrum of color is red, with a wavelength range of approximately 620-750 nanometers. Beyond this visible range, infrared radiation has even longer wavelengths.

Red is longest, violet the shortest,.
Red has the longest wavelength among the visible colors.
Red light has a longer wavelength compared to blue light.
Red has the longest wavelength in a rainbow spectrum, followed by orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. This is due to the way light is refracted when passing through raindrops, creating the distinct colors we see in a rainbow.
