Anyone who does not study ecology could rejoice in the extinction of mosquitoes. Unfortunately, it would probably mean the death many species and eventually adverse effects on the human population. It isn't just bats that eat mosquitoes, there are many different types of animals that rely on the large biomass of mosquitoes found in humid climates. Sure, mosquito-born pathogens would be on the decline, but this would only be a temporary benefit. Annoying they may be, mosquitoes still have a large role in many ecosystems.

If a spherical volume of air instantaneously disappeared, there would be a sudden drop in pressure in that area, causing nearby air to rush in to fill the void. This rapid movement of air could generate strong winds or a temporary vacuum effect before the air pressure equalizes.
Mosquitoes can adapt to pesticides through several mechanisms such as developing resistance through genetic mutations, detoxifying enzymes, or behavioral changes like avoiding treated areas. Over time, these adaptations can lead to a population of mosquitoes that are less affected by the pesticides, making it harder to control them.
