From one to three (1-3) hours ahead is the time difference between Aruba and Texas.

Specifically, Aruba does not observe daylight saving time (DST). The island is in the Atlantic Standard Time Zone. But Texas does observe DST.

Most of Texas is in the Central Time Zone. But a small part of western Texas is in the Mountain Time Zone. From Sunday, March 13th at 2:00 a.m. until Sunday, November 6, 2011 at 2:00 a.m., most of Texas is one hour behind Aruba, except for the western part that is two hours behind. Before and after the above-mentioned times this year, most of Texas is two hours behind Aruba, except for the western part that is three hours behind.

No. It's in the eastern Caribbean time zone and there is a 2 hour difference between the two zones. Example: 9 AM EST = 11 AM Eastern Caribbean time.
