∙ 12y agoThe hot south wind that blows from North Africa is called the Sirocco. It is known for bringing warm, dry air and often carries dust and sand particles over the Mediterranean region.
The wind that blows from the south towards the north is called a south wind. It moves in the opposite direction to the usual north wind.
