Ordinarily you have two ureters, one for each kidney.

However, you can have four uretres. It is a congenital abnormality, but it can happen statistically once every 160 person.

If you do have such abnormality, you have to check if you have frequent infections, fever, etc. Your uretres could not be connected to your bladder, thus this infection. The infection could be treated with antibiotics. Sometimes you could also undergo a surgery to connect your uretres to the bladder correctly.

Having four ureters is a rare condition called duplex kidney with duplicated ureter. This can lead to an increased risk of urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and other complications. Treatment may involve managing symptoms or surgical intervention, depending on the individual case.
