Ross'White Cloud' has replaced 'cloudy'. I noticed this on the BBC weather site the other day (June 1st 2009) and at the same time noticed that the clear skies of the weekend were again being ruined by the trails of white jets flying overhead. The word 'cloudy' implies a particular type of naturally-occuring cloud formation such as stratus or broken cumulus. 'White Cloud' however is totally different. It is formless and oily. Significantly, this new weather phenomenon called 'White Cloud' by more than one official meterological office appears to have been agreed on to provide a catch-all and coherent explanation to those irritating people (like me) who ask why planes are spraying stuff in the sky.
