A deficiency of growth hormone during bone formation can lead to short stature and delayed bone growth. This condition is known as growth hormone deficiency. In children, it can result in reduced bone mineral density and increased risk of fractures. Treatment typically involves growth hormone injections to support proper growth and development.

Growth hormone deficiency will cause short stature, aka little person, if untreated or sometimes even if treated. I've read that treatment, taking a shot every night to inject the absent growth hormone, doesn't always work. I've had it since I was born, and treatment seems to be working for me. Many other problems may occur, like dental problems, but I am unsure of them all.
