The opening(the top) is called the Crater (cray- ter). The volcano its self is called the cone. Inside of the cone is a Magma Chamber this is where magma from underneath the crust of the earth comes up to pour down the sides of the cone whitch then builds up the cone(volcano)to make it bigger and bolder.
At depth in the Earth nearly all magmas contain gas dissolved in the liquid, but the gas forms a separate vapor phase when pressure is decreased as magma rises toward the surface of the Earth. This is similar to Carbonated Beverages which are bottled at high pressure. The high pressure keeps the gas in solution in the liquid, but when pressure is decreased, like when you open the can or bottle, the gas comes out of solution and forms a separate gas phase that you see as bubbles. Gas gives magmas their explosive character, because volume of gas expands as pressure is reduced. hope it helped.

The three main parts of a volcano are the magma chamber where molten rock is stored beneath the surface, the vent where lava erupts to the surface, and the crater which is the bowl-shaped depression at the top of the volcano.
The main solid parts of a volcano include the crust of the Earth, the volcanic rock that forms the cone and vent of the volcano, and the hardened lava flows. Beneath the surface, there are also solid magma chambers where molten rock accumulates before erupting.
A volcano typically consists of several main parts, including a magma chamber, conduit, vent, crater, and flank vents. Each part plays a role in the volcano's activity and eruption processes.
