Temperature Range on JupiterThe temperature at the top of Jupiter's clouds is approximately -230oF (-145oC). The temperature increases as you move downward through the clouds, and reaches 70oF (21oC) at the point in the atmosphere where its atmospheric pressure is about 10 times that of earth's. Near the core of Jupiter the temperature may reach 43,000oF (24,000oC), which is hotter than the surface of the sun.

Sources do not agree on what exactly the surface temperature of Jupiter is, perhaps because it is a gaseous planet that has no surface as we think of one. Most agree that the temperature is well under -100oF, and closer to -150oF at what is considered to be the surface.

Even though Uranus is tipped on its side and experiences seasons that last over 20 years, the temperature differences on the summer and winter sides do not differ greatly because the planet is so far from the Sun [1].

Uranus is the coldest planetary atmosphere in the Solar System, with a minimum temperature of 49 K (−224 °C) [2]. Near the cloud tops, the temperature of Uranus is -216 degrees Celsius (-357 degrees Fahrenheit) [1].

Coldest planet in solar system?

Neptune is the coldest planet in our solar system with surface temperatures dipping as low as -360 degrees Fahrenheit (-218 degrees Celsius). Its distance from the sun, along with its thick atmosphere of ice and ammonia, contributes to its frigid temperatures.

What is the second coldest planet?

The second coldest planet in our solar system is Uranus, with temperatures reaching as low as -224 degrees Celsius. However, Neptune is slightly colder with temperatures dropping to around -218 degrees Celsius.

What is the temperature at Uranus' high and low temperature in kelvins Fahrenheit and Celsius?

The high temperature at Uranus is around 58 K (-356°F, -216°C) and the low temperature is about 49 K (-370°F, -224°C). Uranus is the coldest planet in our solar system, with temperatures dropping significantly due to its distance from the Sun and lack of internal heat source.

Can you live on Uranus with the temp.?

It is impossible for humans to live on Uranus due to its extreme temperatures, which can drop to as low as -224 degrees Celsius. There is no atmosphere suitable for breathing, and the intense winds and lack of solid ground make it uninhabitable.

What are conditions like in Uranus?

Uranus is a cold and windy planet with no solid surface. Its atmosphere is mostly hydrogen, helium, and methane. Temperatures can drop as low as -224 degrees Celsius (-371 degrees Fahrenheit).

Is Neptune the coldest planet?
