I'm not sure what your soap noodle made from. If it made from sapon. of sat. fatty acid or sat. oil with low of unsaponify matter, I think it should have no any problem about odor or rancid smell. In soap that saponified by unsat. fatty acid/oil or high unsaponified matter oil, they add some ingredient such BHT to prevent the rancid smell. But I'm not sure it is safe for skin.
All of them. Soap is made with fats and oils, lye and a variety of ingredients for fragrance, color, texture. If the soap you are using is causing a reaction, look for a soap that is labeled hypoallergenic. That is a starting point.
Soap noodles are essentially already soap, which has been shredded or ground and pushed through an extruder dye and cut into "noodles".
I think you mean soba noodles, and yes, they are made of soap. ~ Soba noodles are not made of soap. Soba noodles are a Japanese edible noodle made from wheat and resemble spaghetti. Soap noodles however are already soap, which has been shredded or ground and pushed through an extruder dye and cut into "noodles". Crafter will use pre-made soap noodles to make bars of soap, when they may not be interested in making their own soap from scratch. Soap noodles as a base for making bar soap, are generally different from a melt & pour "glycerine" soap base, but both will allow a crafter to get creating and produce soap without the danger of working directly with lye.
sodium or potassium are the kinds of chemicals to make a soap.
If it is a purely natural hand soap, there should not be any chemicals in it. Chemicals are added to preserve soap, give it color, and give it smell. Those chemicals are not "natural".
