they both require the sepeartion of forces, however , electrolysis breakes about the intramoleculat forces between the polat covalent molecular bonds of the water mmolecule, however boiiling losens the inter moecuualr forces between molecules, making them vibrate more rapidly

Both processes involve water changing from one state to another: from liquid to gas in boiling and from liquid to gas (hydrogen and oxygen) in electrolysis. Both processes require energy input to occur. Additionally, both processes involve the breaking of bonds within water molecules.

How is electrolysis of water different from evaporation of water?

Electrolysis of water involves passing an electric current through water to separate it into hydrogen and oxygen gases. Evaporation of water, on the other hand, is a phase change process where water is converted into water vapor by heating it to its boiling point. Electrolysis is a chemical reaction while evaporation is a physical change.

What can separate water?

Water can be separated through methods such as distillation, filtration, and electrolysis. Distillation involves boiling water and collecting the steam, while filtration uses a physical barrier to separate impurities. Electrolysis involves passing an electric current through water to separate it into hydrogen and oxygen gases.

Electricity is passed through water in electrolysis and two gases are formed. If one gas has a boiling point of -183 degrees and other has a boiling point of -253 degrees what are the gasses?

We know that the gas oxygen has a boiling point of about -183 degrees C. The gas hydrogen has a boiling point of about -253 degrees C.

How does salt affect electrolysis?

Salt, when added to water, increases its conductivity by providing ions that can carry electric current. This enhances the efficiency of electrolysis by facilitating the movement of ions between the electrodes, leading to a faster and more effective electrolysis process.

What is the difference between photosynthesis and electrolysis?

=== === hydrolysing is pouring the excess water to certain substance and then stirring it and photolysis is splitting of water in presence of light

Is there a difference in taste between steaming and boiling a live lobster?

When you steam the lobster, it is placed in a basket above a pot of boiling water. When you are boiling the lobster, it is placed directly into the boiling water.
