The compound is Trinitrotoluene. The question was "is TNT an organic compound?" as organic compounds are characterized by chain carbon to carbon bonding. Where ususally at least one hydrogen atom is bonded to a carbon atom, then TNT would be considered an organic compound. See the molecular structure below.

However, carbonates (CO32-) or carbides would not be considered organic.
