Normally 18 hours. Example: 1 AM Friday in Montana = 7 PM Friday in Queensland.

But there are exceptions: Both places observe Daylight Saving Time (DST) and twice a year switch their clocks -- but not always on the same day. There might be several days when the governments aren't in sync. Because those dates for change are subject to, well, change, we suggest that you check before fixating on that 18 hour number. But "normally" you can use 18 hours as a reference.

Well, the UK is five hours ahead of New York City (where I am, Eastern Time), and New York City is two hours ahead of Montana (Mountain Time). So, the time in the UK is 7 hours later than the time in Montana.
It's 9:15 a.m. here in New York, so it's 7:15 a.m. in Montana (and 2:15 p.m. in London, yes?).

Montana actually is a very special case when it comes to time zones. The common misconception is that Montana runs on Mountain Standard Time, when really, Montana has its own separate time zone.
