About 5 lbs head on
From personal experience, a 40 lb. bag will fill a five gallon pail heaping and spilling over a bit. So, a five gallon pail will hold approximately 35 pounds of wood pellets flush to the top.
If the bag is exactly a gallon (and no more) then it can hold a gallon of water but not a gallon of ice. This is because when water freezes it expands slightly.
That question cannot be answered because it does not describe how large the bag is, where the bag is relative to the gravitational attractor. It does not describe what "hold" means and it does not describe what the contents of the bag is. Further, it is unclear if you mean bags for holding cotton or bags made of cotton.
It would convert to about 240 pounds of contents, plus the weight of the drum. Pounds is a unit of mass/weight. Gallons is a liquid measure. They do not convert cleanly. The density of the liquid being measured can make a big difference. If the liquid is water, there is 8 pounds to a gallon.
26 Gallon (UK) = 4.2 cubic feet, approx.
16 cups

A one US gallon bag will hold 128 ounces
I presume you mean "Ziplock bag" A 1 gallon Ziplock bag can hold 1 gallon of fluids, they are on average 10.5" x 11"
20-25 lbs.

I keep my dog's food in a 5 gallon bucket. It holds a full 20 lb bag of Pedigree. I would expect that a 6 gallon would hold around 24 or 25 lbs.
It depends on what is in the bag. 1 US Gallon of water = approx. 8.35 lb, so a 50 pound bag would hold about 5.9 gallons of water. A gallon of gasoline weighs about 6.073 pounds per US Gallon, so a 50 pound bag would hold about 8.2 gallons.
Depends on how big the bag is, and what is in the bag.
Just under 4 of them.
Depends what is the material in bag.
