∙ 8y agoThe hole has the shape of a cylinder.
The volume of any cylinder is (pi) x (its radius)2 x (its length) .
12 inches = 1 foot
36 inches= 3 feet
Radius of the hole = 1/2 foot.
Volume = (pi) x (1/2)2 x (3) = 2.356 cubic feet(rounded)

∙ 14y agoIt is a hole! There is no dirt in it. If the question asked how much was removerd from ta hole, then I would say 432 cubic feet.

∙ 8y agoA round hole 12" in diameter and 54" deep has a volume of about 3.5 cubic feet.
Wiki User
∙ 15y agoI got 56.54 cu. ft.
Wiki User
∙ 10y agoThat is 18 cubic ft.
Wiki User
∙ 8y ago6.75 cubic feet.
The volume of the hole is 2 yards * 3 yards * 1 yard = 6 cubic yards. To convert this to cubic feet, we multiply by 27 (since 1 cubic yard = 27 cubic feet). Therefore, the volume of the hole in cubic feet is 6 cubic yards * 27 cubic feet = 162 cubic feet of dirt.
To convert the measurements into yards: 30 feet = 10 yards 6 feet = 2 yards 6 inches = 0.5 feet = 0.167 yards Calculate the volume of the hole in cubic yards: 10 yards x 2 yards x 0.167 yards = 3.34 cubic yards Therefore, you would need 3.34 cubic yards of dirt to fill the hole.
The volume of the hole is 12 cubic yards. To convert this to cubic feet, you would multiply by 27 (since 1 cubic yard is equal to 27 cubic feet). Therefore, the volume of dirt in the hole is 324 cubic feet.
A little less than 3" deep. A cubic yard is 3ftx3ftx3ft or 27ft3. You have 9 cubic yards or 9*27ft3 = 243ft3. If you divide 243 ft3 by 1000ft2 you get 0.243 ft. Multiply by 12 to covert to inches and your answer is 2.9" deep.
The volume of the hole can be calculated by multiplying its length, width, and depth: 3 ft (depth) x 2 ft (width) x 10 ft (length) = 60 cubic feet. Therefore, 60 cubic feet of dirt can be removed from the hole.
A hole 40 inches deep by 12 inches wide has a volume of: 2.62 cubic feet.
1.963 cubic feet
6,400 ft3
218.75 cubic feet or 8.1 cubic yards
8 cubic feet.
I say 1.09 cu ft.
cylinder 18 feet diameter x 1.5 feet deep volume = 381 cubic feet
About 21 cubic feet
2 inches = 1/6 foot27 cubic feet = 1 cubic yardVolume of the hole = (15' x 7' x 1/6-ft) = 17.5 cubic feet = 0.648 cubic yard (rounded)
That hole is 6 feet deep or 72 inches deep.
There is no dirt in a hole that is 3 feet deep and six inches in diameter.
25 feet is equal to 300 inches. The radius of a hole is half its diameter, which equals 4 inches. The volume of the cylinder is given by the formula v = [Pi]r2h, so the volume of your hole is 3.14 * 16 * 300 = 15080 cubic inches. There are 1728 cubic inches to the cubic foot, so you'll need about 8.75 cubic feet of concrete, which is about a third of a yard. (More exactly, that's a cubic yard, but concrete guys just say "yard.")
