Pimples on your vagina may be caused by skin conditions other than acne from clogged pores. They may be inflamed or infected sebaceous glands, or ingrown hairs. They may be papillary warts or tumors. They may be caused by genital herpes. If you have consistent outbreaks of pimples on or in the vagina or anus, please see your gynecologist ASAP.

Baking soda is not the best treatment for facial or vaginal acne. Keeping the area around the vagina and anus clean and clear of oils with an unscented soap should prevent bad breakouts. You may wish to use some acne treatments to remove a current breakout, but keeping your genital area clean and dry is the best treatment, for now. Your doctor might prescribe a oral or topical medication, later.

Vaginal pimples are quite common, especially in teenage women. So, don't be embarrassed by them. Seek medical help and find a skin treatment program that works best for you.
