a geologist studies the the origin, history, structure, and composition of the earth. (minerals, resources etc)
Meteorologists study the science dealing with the atmosphere and its phenomena, including weather and climate.
You can become a meteorologist through getting a degree in geology and focusing on meteorology. In other cases you can specifically study meteorology.
Hope this helps :)

A geologist studies the Earth's materials, processes, and history, while a meteorologist studies the atmosphere, weather patterns, and climate. Geologists focus on rocks, minerals, and land formations, while meteorologists study weather phenomena such as clouds, precipitation, and atmospheric conditions.
Oceanography, as its name might imply, is the study of oceans and seas. Meteorology is the study of weather. As with many sciences there is some overlap between the two as the atmosphere and oceans are constantly interacting.
