Any electrical engineer, electrician, fireman or anyone else who understands the function of a fuse will advise strongly that you NEVER replace a fuse with one of a higher amperage rating.
Fuses protect wires from overheating. The original fuse is matched to the capacity of the wires and other components of a circuit. When a properly matched fuse is replaced with a fuse of larger capacity you place your home, office, automobile or other property in jeopardy. The risk of a fire becomes very high when you use an over-sized fuse.
If you have any questions, consult with a competent electrician or electrical engineer.

It is generally not recommended to replace an 8 amp fuse with a 10 amp fuse as it could potentially damage the circuit and pose a safety hazard. Fuses are designed to protect the circuit from excess current and using a higher amp fuse can lead to overheating and cause further damage. It's best to replace a blown fuse with the same amp rating as the original.

Can a 25 amp fuse replace a 30 amp fuse in a central ac unit?

It is not recommended to replace a 30 amp fuse with a 25 amp fuse in a central AC unit. The fuse should match the specified amperage requirements to prevent damage or overheating of the unit. Using a lower amp fuse could potentially lead to electrical issues or failure of the AC unit.

Can you replace a 20 amp fuse in your car with a 25 amp due to the fuse keep blowing?

No, it is not safe to replace a 20 amp fuse with a 25 amp fuse. The fuse is designed to protect the circuit from overloading, and using a higher amp fuse can lead to overheating and potential fire hazards. It is important to troubleshoot and address the underlying issue that is causing the fuse to blow rather than increasing the fuse rating.

What size fuse does a Waring 18BL93 blender use?

The Waring 18BL93 blender typically uses a 5 amp fuse. It is recommended to replace the fuse with the same amp rating to prevent any electrical issues.

What size fuse does a model 4094 Oster blender use?

For the 400 watt max power motor, the stock fuse on the Oster, two speed, 4094 is 8amp 250v (not sure if it's a slow of fast burn). After recently blowing my fuse, ran down to Radio Shack and got a replacement. Upgraded the connection by buying a fuse holder and soldered the connections. Works perfectly.

How do you change from 15 amp fuse to 20 amp fuse?

It is not recommended to replace a 15 amp fuse with a 20 amp fuse as this can overload the circuit and pose a fire hazard. It is important to use the correct amperage fuse that is specified for the circuit to prevent damage or danger. If you are experiencing frequent blown fuses, consult an electrician to address the underlying issue.
