No, Ryobi and Homelite typically have different battery systems even though they are both 18 volts. They are not interchangeable between brands due to variations in design and compatibility. It is important to use the correct battery for your specific power tool brand.

A group of ten six and twelve volt batteries are wired in a series The Sum of their voltages is eighty-four volts How many of each type of battery are used?

Let's denote the number of six-volt batteries as x and the number of twelve-volt batteries as y. From the information given, we know that x + y = 10 (total number of batteries) and 6x + 12y = 84 (sum of their voltages). Solving these two equations simultaneously, we find that there are 6 six-volt batteries and 4 twelve-volt batteries used.

Can you wire 12 volt agm but different amp hour batteries in series?

Yes, but know that when connected in series you will increase the voltage but the amps will stay the same as one battery. If you wire them in parallel you increase the amps but the voltage stays the same. Example: Connect two 12 volt batteries in series and you then have 24 volts with the same amperage as one battery. Connect two 12 volt batteries in parallel and you will have 12 volts but the amperage will double.

Can you run your 36 volt golf cart on 5 batteries?

Most 36 volt golf carts are designed to run on a specific number of batteries, usually six 6-volt batteries or three 12-volt batteries. Running a 36 volt system on fewer batteries, such as 5, may result in insufficient power and could potentially damage the cart's electrical system. It's recommended to use the correct number and type of batteries as specified by the manufacturer for optimal performance and safety.

Do two 12 volt 100 amp hour batteries give me 200 amp hours at 24 volt?

No. If you connect two 12 volt batteries in series(positive to negative) to make 24 volts, you will have 100 amp hours. If you connect two 12 volt batteries in parallel(pos to pos, neg to neg) you will stay at 12 volts but have 200 amp hours

considering Craftsman has nothing to do with HD which owns the company that makes Ryobi (TTI Inc.) why would they be the same? Maybe they'll fit, but highly doubtful.

Can you parallel 4 sets of 6 volt batteries to get 12volts at the same time having the same batteries in series for a 48 volt laod?

Paralleling four sets of 6 volt batteries will still give you 6 volts. Two 6 volt batteries in series will give you 12 volts. Parallel these series sets will give you longer endurance at 12 volts. There is no way you will ever get 48 volts out of four 6 volt batteries.

Will 3 12volt batteries wired in series provide the same results as 6 6volt batteries?

Depends on the amperage of the batteries you are using. Both setups will give you 36 volts, but you will normally have a longer run time with six 6 volt batteries in series than three 12 volt batteries. That is why golf carts use 6 volt instead of 12 volt batteries.

How do you charge12 volt batteries with a 32volt charger?

You cannot do this. If it were a 36 volt charger you could connect three 12 volt batteries in series and charge all 3 at the same time. But this is a 32 volt charger which I have never heard of.

How to hook a 24 volt trolling motor to 2 12 volt batteries?

You would need to connect the two 12 volt batteries in series. That will give you 24 volts and the amps of one of the batteries. Voltage doubles and amps stay the same.

Can you use a 12 Volt Charger on 2 6 Volt Batteries?

You cannot use a 12 volt charger to charge 2.6 volt batteries. The 2.6 volt batteries will become hot, very quickly, and explode.
