Partially. Some parts of the frame and slide are made of a polymer (type of plastic) Other parts are steel. With the exception of toy guns, and one or two special guns developed for spies, there is NO gun that is completely plastic.

Glocks are not entirely plastic. While they are known for their polymer frames, they also have metal components such as the barrel, slide, and internal parts. This combination of materials helps to make Glocks lightweight and durable.

Whats a firearm's action?

Not sure if this is what you're asking, but strictly speaking, the action of a firearm refers to how the trigger system works. Some firearms are single action, some are double action, some are double action only, some are variants. Glocks are called "Safe Action" which is Glocks propietary term for how their trigger works.
