The most successful rendition of "Only You" was by The Platters and released in 1955. There have been many cover versions since but The Platters sang the original. See the related link for a YouTube link to the song.

The platters sung it originally, but there's a great version with a female singing but i don't know who that is... PC

There are two different songs called 'Only You' - Americans would know the Platters' version and its covers, whereas in the UK, Yazoo (Alison Moyet and Depeche Mode/Eurasure's Vince Clarke) had a hit in 1982 in the charts, later to be covered acapella a year later by The Flying Pickets. BA.
