They sure did, including those who don't sing very well. Pierce Brosnan sings like a water buffalo in mating season, which I find totally charming because I love to sing, and sing just as badly. Amanda Seyfried is the best singer of the cast, and I thought she stole the show, but Meryl Streep was remarkable also, especially when the movie turned serious during Slipping Through My Fingers and The Winner Takes It All. Betcha she gets awards (Golden Globe, maybe an Oscar).
