Why does the needle seem to get stuck in the skin while tattooing or when he's doing the outline it gets stuck or snags when he goes a certain direction?

the needle getting snagged could be the cause of a few reasons. 1, the needle is not sharp enough. 2, the ink resevior is screwed on too tight giving the needle too long of a stroke. 3, the artist could be holding the machine at too much of an angle. Hope this helps.
