Why does Kid Rock suck so bad?

I think Kid Rock sucks because he doesn't really have any talent. He doesaif he is country pop or schwag rap. What I do know is that as soon as his redneck crap plays I know his music is going to suck. Why do people listen to this? The best he has ever had was "I put your picture away". Could someone tell him to stop and come back someday when he has talent?

I don't think Kid Rock sucks. I'm certainly not musically uninformed, and I hate Nickelback, Limp Bizkit, Maroon 5, and most of what else is obligatory for any serious music fan/musician to hate. But Kid Rock has always intrigued me for a couple of reasons. One is that he has had success in 3 different genres. His metal pretty much sucks, but if you like old school gimmick rap with good instrumentals, most of his rap is listenable. His country songs like "Only God Knows Why" and "Amen" are among the better commercial country songs of the last 20 years, which, granted, is not really saying much, as the last good radio country was Travis Tritt, which was a while ago. But I still like those songs, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Thirdly, the dude has paid his dues, living in a trailer for most of the 1990s. He had been going for 10 years before he got big, and it was largely due to his insane pyrotechnic, midgets and strippers live shows, always sold out in Detroit, that he even got noticed at all. Finally, while I don't agree with our wars, I do support our troops, and he is always doing shows for them, and he does a LOT for trying to help revive Detroit. I think I can logically defend liking Kid Rock. Oh, and another big reason. He plays EVERY instrument.
