Andrea Bocelli was born with glaucoma. at the age of 12 during a soccer game he hit his head. a few days later in the hospital he had bleeding on the brain. he has been totally blind ever since.. one of the reasons hekeepshis eyesclosedmay be due tothefact that some blind peoplehave a sensitivity to light. the big stage lights may hurt his eyes

∙ 11y agosomeblind people can still see light . it couldbe his eyes are sensitive. or it could be he is selfconcious about how his eyes look. i have seen him on various websites with his eyes open. if you ask me he has beautiful eyes, but he may not think so, however you can tell when looking at him that there is something wrong with his eyes.
