Who wrote the song Unforgettable?

Irving Gordon (1915- 1996) composed the music and lyrics to this song. It became famous when it was first recorded and performed by Nat King Cole in 1951. Gordon was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2000 for his contributions to Pop Music. He also won a Grammy for this as song-of-the-year in 1992 after it was re-recorded and released by Natalie Cole (Nat King Cole's daughter) as a duet with the 1951 song her late father had recorded.
