Yes it was his best friend in high school he was playing Basketball and their ball bounced of the rim into the street but then a bully took their ball and messed with them they got mad and got in a fight kid cudi was picked his friend tried to help him but got stabbed in the back the kids ran kid cudi tried to save him but his friend was dead after the hospital said it was too late
