By then, they had a daughter together, Julie Rose, who was born on June 13, 2001. Eric Clapton remains married to Melia McEnry at this time, and they do have three daughters together. Eric Clapton met Melia McEnry at a social event after one of his performances, which took place in Columbus, Ohio in 1999. Eric Clapton stated that Melia McEnry introduced herself to him at that time, and that they started dating shortly thereafter.
