.........Not even close my friend. While Petty and his collaborators have sold nearly 60 million albums in the US, Springsteen has sold over 65 million in the US and over 120 million world wide.
Petty hasn't had much success of late, whereas Springsteen continues to have very high album sales. Petty is great, but he's no Boss.
