Who Is artist Helen Adele Beres?

my guess is that she is one of the paddlefish creators from glendive Montana, simply send her an email and ask her about your art that you have found.. believe it is the same woman. thanks, to find her site simply type in paddlefish, beres and you will find her email, paints flowers etc.

------- My Great Grandmother, Helen Adele Beres was also an artist, lived in Washington state, but died in 1984. She was one of the founders of the Bellevue Art Fair and painted mostly with mostly watercolor, lthough she did a few with oil paints. She worked at Northgate Mall, Southcenter Mall and various shops in Edmonds. She illustrated for Frederick and Nelson early on in her career. She lived in the Seattle area all her life but did travel to Montana... is this the same woman? Do you have a piece of her artwork?

My Mother bought an oil painting of Helen Adele Beres of Pacific Northwest seagulls over Puget Sound. We lived in Richmond Beach next door to Edmonds so I am assuming that this is the above mentioned Great Grandmother. I believe that she purchased the painting in the early 1960's and I now have the painting in my garage. I'm sure it would be worth alot to the right person so I have always hung on to it. Let me know if you are interested in seeing it.

These are two different people. The Helen from Glendive MT paddlefish is still living and is currently the president of The Art Gallery there. She did a fund raiser with the paddlefish a couple years ago.
