Kerry and Jeff use lots of different tunings , say for example the song blood lines is in C# tuning for extra brutality. Seasons in the Abyss one of my favorite slayer songs is in E flat tuning.
Kerry uses 7 string Guitars as well since the god hates us all album but I'm not sure the tuning it might be B flat.
a mahogany guitar with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard is easy to come by , lots of gain and noise gate to get the right amount of intensity and you'll get real close to his sound. I don't believe in signature stuff but Dunlop strings are excellent I love their heavy core strings.
