Jews consider the Torah to be the word of God and consider the Christian additions to the Hebrew scriptures to be spurious. Christians generally consider the Torah to be the word of God, since they include it as part of the Christian Bible (the books of Genesis through Deuteronomy), while Christians generally consider the Koran to be spurious. Islam considers both Christianity and Judaism to be divinely inspired and accepts the Christian Bible (including the Jewish Bible) as being largely the word of God, except that they consider Jews and Christians to have made mistakes in transmitting some of the stories, notably where there are conflicts with the Koran. Note that, while Jews consider the Christian and Islamic scriptures to be spurious, they do not deny that these contain genuine wisdom and that they can be used to teach a righteous path in life that is acceptable to God. Christians generally have a harder time with non-Christian religions because Christianity has long taught that it is the only path to salvation.
