its simple really look on the right rear vent window it looks like a defroster but it is not it is a built in antenna

∙ 13y agoit is in the truck on the left side behind the molded fiber lining. It is there because the tuner is in the trunk and a wiring harness is run from the factory unit back to the trunk. There is a harness that usually come with the dash adapter plate, I just installed the metra unit with harness.
