There are 2. one under the dashboard on the right. The fan relay is the second from the bottom on the left. There is a other one under the Hood. There are three relays to your right when you open the hood(behind the battery) one is for the fan, but I don't know which...Have the same problem, fan will not stop running, i think the relay is stuck.
Good luck!
Leslie
If you tap on one of the 3 relays lightly with say a wrench then that might clear it up; worked for me.

The 2004 Jeep Liberty radiator fan relay switch can be found on the back of the fan motor. The relay switch is attached directly to the fan motor.
The radiator fan relay has failed. The relay is under the front bumper cover under the right front headlight. The easyist way to access the relay is to remove right front headlight and drill a 1.5 inch hole to remove. Otherwise the entire front bumper has to be removed.
Yes. Cooling fan, engine fan, and radiator fan relays are all the same thing.
The wiring is wrong. Same thing happened to me and I replaced a relay cluster and fixed the wiring it's most likely the yellow wire or memory.
jump power from the battery to the fan directly to see if the fan operates. if not, replace fan. interchange another relay with the fan relay to check the relay. there are usually the exact same relay located in the engine bay.
