The car came with 2 cards with the code written on them. If you can't find these cards or it was not written down in your owner's manual, you will have to remove the radio and get the serial # off it. With this serial # Honda can supply the code. Better write it down for future battery replacement. found mine on the inside of the fuse box cover under the hood (03 element) Also found mine on the inside of the fuse box cover under the hood. It's a 5-digit number and is not labeled. Thanks to previous poster for info! Answer Bingo! These hints helped me find mine (03 element). It was on the door jamb inside the hatchback at the top. (I think that's where the radio antenna comes through to the roof. Maybe they thought that was a logical place to put it!)
On my 2nd generation 1999 Acura 3.2 TL (1999 - 2003) the radio codes are in a sticker at the back of the radio itself... so you'll have to take it out. Likely your codes are in the same place. How to remove the radio? That's another question I have no answer to. The dealer removed it for me... good luck!
No, niether RCA input or outputs
First clear all codes. remove the neg. battery cable for 10 sec. then turn the radio on it will display CODE. Enter the 5 digit numbers using the preset buttons numbered 1 to 6. Yes above answer is right but don't forget you need to take out your radio and get the serial number off it and call your local Honda dealer to get the code to reset it.
there is no fix for this except to buy a new audio unit from the dealer. unless you still have a factory warranty then it will be replaced at no charge to you. this is a common problem with accords with that type of radio.
If you have already tried to enter a code many times, and it doesn't work, do the following: 1. Disconnect the battery, 2. Connect the battery, 3. Put Radio ON 4. Enter the radio code of 4 digits, 5. That's all. If you don't have the radio code of your Honda Odyssey, have on hand its VIN, and ask your former salesperson or your former dealer.
There is a piece of sticker in the glove compartment with some number. That's the one you need to enter on the radio button. one question, did you take out the battery cable? Because every time you do, you need to enter that password for the radio system and the anti-theft system to work... My brother got a 1999 Honda accord, hope this help you.
It means there was an error inputting the codes to unlock the radio. If the radio locks just leave it on and in about 1 hour of use it will unlock and allow you to try again.
where is the fuse box for the radio back up light on a 2004 Honda accord?
no
It must have a TIMING CHAIN because Gates ( they make timing belts etc. ) does not list a timing belt for the 2004 Honda Element
I needed the code for my radio about a month ago, I called my Honda dealer with my VIN and they gave me the code for the radio.

Depends on what the error code is.
By inserting a 5 digit code into the radio by means of the station preset buttons. If you do not have the code then go to the Honda Owners Link and register your Honda. There you can get the code for free.
The 2004 Honda Element takes a fairly specialized 12" rear wiper blade that is difficult to find in stores. See sources and related links below for more information.
My 2004 Honda uses 5w-20 . Use a good quality detergent oil listed for gasoline engines.
