The Beatles are from the port city of Liverpool, on the northwest coast of England. A link can be found below. All four of the Beatles were born in Liverpool.
When they got famous they all moved to London to produce music more easily.
By modern standards, they would be considered poorly off - none of the families owned cars, for example. Ringo came from a very poor area of Liverpool (the Dingle) where his step-father was a baker, George's father was a bus driver. Paul's father was a cotton merchant - a poorly paid job and the death of Paul's mother put a great strain on family finances.
John's family, by contrast, was relatively well off - at least on his mother's side. He was brought up by his aunt in a semi-detached house in a suburb of Liverpool - his bandmates were stunned when John received £100 as a birthday present when he was 21 (the average salary was £1000, so this was a lot of money).
John Lennon: At age five his father left him and his sisters. His mother, Julia was a party woman and got pregnant at 18. John was the center of Julia's attention because he was her oldest but Julia's sister Mimi thought that Julia's "Party woman" style was not a parenting style so she eventually got custody of John where Julia came for visits after John met her at age 16 and taught John how to play the banjo which helped him to pick up guitar. When John was 18 he receved news that his mother was hit by an off duty police man.
Paul McCartney: Paul lived a happy child life with his brother, Michael until his mother was diagnosed with Breast cancer. She never told her family which lead to a sort-of sudden death and Paul's first composition "I lost my little girl" which lead to John's first song "Hello Little Girl".
George Harrison: George had a pretty normal childhood until he heard rock music and then it blew his grades from A+ to F-
Ringo Starr: Mr. Richard :) Ringo was very sick when he hit 3rd grade and had appendisitis, after surgery had a coma for 3 weeks and was very lucky to have been in a hospital where they had a "happy band" that was just a band to make sick children happy in the childrens ward. Ringo picked up the sticks and never looked back.
Yes.
Both sides of Elvis' family (i.e. the Presley and the Smith) were very poor. What they lacked in monetary wealth they made up by; loving, supporting, and caring for Elvis their beloved son.

No, it was The Beatles that sang 'Come Together'. It was written by John Lennon.
The chorus for the 1964 Beatles hit 'Twist and Shout' goes as follows: Well shake it up, baby, now (shake it up, baby), twist and shout (twist and shout). Come on come on come on come on baby now (come on baby) come on and work it on out (work it on out).
