The Baldwin Model 632 was a church organ which employed Digitally-Controlled-Synthesis. (DCS Technology) It was built in the late 1970's and earyl 1980's. There was tonal borrowing from stop to stop within the various tonal families, i.e., flutes, diapasons. The Oboe on the Swell was particularly convincing, and the overall ensemble was pleasant and had a certain brilliance when full organ was played. It featured American Guild of Organists specifications and lighted electronic bulbs above the stops, which were spring-loaded and therefore the action was capture, but there were no moving stops when a piston was deployed. This earned it the SilentTouch series name. Overall, it is a good practical organ for a small church or chapel or a practice instrument at home or in studio.
