While in NYC, they visited Central Park to pose for newspaper photographers. They also went to the famous, Peppermint Lounge. The Beatles were also anxious to visit Miami, Florida since they had never experienced the subtropical climate before. George Harrison was the only one who had already been to the USA a year or so earlier, visiting a sister who lived in Illinois.
