Ronnie Van Zant loved number one music, of course. However, a very close second was fishing. From the time he was little Ronnie would grab some buddies and fish for hours. As a matter of fact, he and Gary Rossington would often come off of a long tour ,grab their fishing poles and head off to relax. Ronnie also enjoyed watching boxing, and he also loved playing Baseball. He often dreamed of becoming a professional baseball player when he was a young child.
