Often Breaking Benjamin uses Drop C tuning (drop to D from your LOW E string, then drop every string a whole step). This is (low to high)-C G C F A D. On their latest, Phobia, many of they songs, and all of their singles so far, are a whole step lower than Drop C. This is (low to high)-Bb F Bb Eb G C or, in variably A# F A# D# G C...whatever you prefer. These are hard to get by ear unless you have an amazingly well trained tuning ear. Tuners are not very expensive by themselves, but try to make sure you get one that will tune to any note for any string, rather for only standard tuning, if you want to play Breaking Benjamin songs. For acoustic players, get a tuner with a mic, or if you have a good mic on your computer or laptop, try this free online version that works wonders. Sorry, didn't mean to advertise, but this site saved my butt when I wanted to tune down low like this. http://www.seventhstring.com/tuner/tuner.html
