Technology inherently breeds laziness, as jobs that were once done by people can be done by machines, and machines make our lives generally easier and require less work. Machines and factories also contribute to air and water pollution across the planet. When people really enjoy technology, it is also easy to become addicted to it, which breeds problems of its own. It also changes and updates so rapidly that something recently bought can quickly become outdated and ineffective.

Modern technology has various problems. A lot of the problems arise from the idea that the technology can be used for the wrong reasons such as spying and terrorism.
