To reset the radio in a 1992 Toyota Previa, start by disconnecting the vehicle's battery to cut power to the radio. Wait for about 10 minutes before reconnecting the battery, which can help reset the radio settings. If the radio has a reset button, you can also press and hold it for a few seconds. After replacing the battery in a 2007 Chevy Silverado, if the radio asks for a reset code, you typically need to consult the owner's manual or contact a dealership for the specific code, as it is unique to each vehicle. In many cases, simply driving the vehicle for a short period can reset the system. If the radio doesn't reset automatically, you may need to enter a code provided by an authorized dealer based on your vehicle's VIN.
