Fireproof is about a failing marriage. Capt. Caleb Holt (Kirk Cameron) and his wife have been married for almost eight years. One minute they are in love, the next on the brink of divorce. When Caleb's father gives him a book called The Love Dare, a book like a devotional, to save their marriage. For example, the book says to do things like say nothing negative, do something kind, that sort of thing for his wife. Well, his wife isn't buying any of it. And she meets a man where she works, and likes him. Caleb wants to save their marriage, but his wife Catherine wants nothing to do with it. (I won't give away the ending. :) )
