The only thing I can come up with is that aimee Allen is, as it says in the lyrics that everyone is going to hell yet they r calling out for god hence John the revelator referring to John the last disciple who was exiled for preaching the gospel.

I am wring my own response here...I think its a dig at the faiths about how others are treated. Like Hozier's "Take me to Church" As she keeps saying "all I did was love..." so its taking in account she loved the wrong person...be it race, sex or religion. She is basically saying it she has gone against the grain just for loving someone other's think she shouldn't have...thats why we have put me in the county jail (I did whats considered a crime), callin the maker, dirty with the salt from the undertaker (hmm....people persecuted then killed? blood on his hands...not salt?), John the Revelator (preaching whats supposed to be the true word of god, what should be followed) and then Momma's in the kitchen dancing and singing (mom is basically praying for my soul...)
