As distinct from pizzicato, which indicates that you are to play a string instrument such as a violin by plucking, the corresponding term for playing with a bow is arco.
No.
Type your answer here... well a string instrument because of the string on its handle so in order to play the violin you would have to have that string so without that string the violin would not sound like it did before neither would it be called a string instrument.
In a string orchestra, an orchestra with violin, cello, viola, and bass, the bass is the largest and lowest instrument. However, if you were looking for the largest string instrument in a full orchestra, the piano would be the instrument for which you are looking.
All instruments are hard to learn at the start and all you do is practice to get better. But i would say that the hardest instrument to learn would be the oboe or bassoon (but this is at the start). Some people say the violin is the hardest instrument to learn but I disagree as the violin is relatively easy to play at the start compared to the bassoon or oboe however the violin gets very hard very fast and that makes it harder to play as you are always learning something new were as bassoon and oboe once you have mastered the fingerings its not to bad. But grand daddy of them all is the harp. to learn how to play this could take twice as long as any other instrument due to the numerous strings and positions. But wind instruments are generally harder to learn that string instruments as it will take longer for you to get your first sound out of it than a string instrument. But as I said at the start all you do is practice and the instrument will be easy to you. Well, I'd say that one of the hardest things that you need for almost every instrument is to be able to learn music. Personally, i think the clarinet is QUITE hard- wind instruments are the hardest. The piano is QUITE easy. But, it doesn't exactly matter which is hardest, learning any instrument is worthwhile. well i believe the flute is the hardest because its hard to figure out how to blow through it, even make a noise well i guess the trombones also a little confusing and has lots of buttons but flutes are way out there. The Bagpipes are the most difficult, also you cannot look at music while you play
It is a special string instrument that can give sound, and play music. The violin is the string instrument that can play the highest note.
The Guitar

On what instrument? On the violin it is the 3rd finger on the A string. The A string is the 2nd string from the right. =)
Cello, guitar, bass

12 string guitar.
Not really none are really easier than others, string instruments are harder to play than other families because they require a good ear which is useful for instance so you can tell if a note is the right pitch, to sharp, or to flat. you will find with any string instrument that the fattest string will be the hardest string to get a good sound from which is why there are different bows for each instrument. My violin teacher recently advised me to switch to viola because i have really big hands (and I'm proud of it, etc). So maybe if you have small hands (short fingers) you should play a smaller instrument and if you have large hands (long fingers) you should play a larger instrument. ORDER OF STRING INSTRUMENTS smallest > largest Violin Viola Cello Double Bass

As on any other stringed instrument, the treble strings on a piano are the string that play the high notes. As on any other stringed instrument, the treble strings on a piano are the string that play the high notes.
