It really depends what age you start learning, how good you are and how much you practice. I did grade 7 when I was 13 but a lot of people only start learning aged 13. I would say that the average age can range from 15-17 (most people in my school take grade 7 when they are around 16).

At age 2 he started playing drums they bought him a little drum set and then he gew out of that at age 4 also at age 2-3 he started trying to learn to play Guitar, and was very good, he also played a little bit of Piano at age..... 5? If you are wondering what the 2009 exam pieces are for the grade one exam on the piano, then you can look these pieces up, and you should get an idea on the difficulty level. Most pieces will vary, but you will find that they might be similar.Also, I have noticed a HUGE jump between the grade one and the grade two pieces- there should be an extra level in between them really!
