From: Chicago Urban History The White City Roller Rink is the finest, coolest, cleanest, and best managed skate palace in the world. Two sides are entirely made up of windows, which, when opened, make the rink practically an open-air pavilion; sunshine and excellent ventilation, the two most important health factors, are thus assured. It is a mecca for Chicago's best skaters and is the home of the greatest skating club, the White City Roller Club, known from coast to coast for its size, pep and for the brilliant events conducted under its auspices. Over 6,000 skaters registered. Maxham's Band, playing at the Roller Rink every afternoon and evening, is causing much comment from the skaters by virtue of its splendid music and skating tempo.

Where are the best rollerskating rinks that have an adult night with rb oldies music ONLY?
I've skated in CA, MO & ATL recently. The only 2 rinks that play R&B oldies the entire adult night session is Skate Depot in Cerritos, CA on Sat. nights from 10-2am and World On Wheels in Los Angeles, CA on Thur. nights which I think the time is 8pm-1am . Kansas City Mo has one rink that has one night a wk and St. Louis has a rink near the airport that has a morning session and an evening session that plays some oldies. I've heard NC & Ohio have some but I haven't made it there yet, so I don't know. But would like to know.
