There are different genres of 'Carnival music'

-any sort of music that is played to accompany a circus and also music written that emulates its general style. It is also called circus music.

-A rhythmic sound with brass instruments, and in the Caribbean, steel drums. It originates from the Caribbean and parts of South America, namely Brazil, where the biggest Carnival parades are held.

Specific styles are: Calypso, Bachannal, Soca

latin rhythms are often used in street carnivals throughout the world, mainly Samba, but, as it's "street" its freestyle.

I play drums with this feel....I call it "Carnivale" its uplifting groovy and FUN...
